Finding My Niche… Without Even Knowing What That Meant

When I first got my real estate license and joined ΓEA⅃, my mentor asked me a question that honestly stopped me in my tracks:

“What’s your niche?”

My thought?
How in the world am I supposed to know that already?

I was brand new.
I hadn’t even shown enough homes yet to have a “favorite” anything.

All I knew was this:

👉 I love homes.
👉 And I love people.

And not just certain homes…

I love the brand new ones with that fresh NEW smell.
I love the older homes with character and stories.
I love the ones that are move-in ready…
and the ones that need a little (or a lot of) love.

Big yards, small yards.
Established neighborhoods, brand new subdivisions.
Dream homes… and “diamond in the rough” homes.

If it’s a house?
I’m probably going to love something about it.

But just as much as I love homes…
I love people.

So I remember thinking:

How do I build a business around loving ALL houses and helping ALL people?
How do I turn that into something successful—something big enough that one day I can do this full-time?

At the time… I didn’t have the answer.


A Year Later… It Finally Clicked

After being in real estate for over a year now, I can confidently say:

I found my niche.

And the funny thing is…
I didn’t find it by trying to define it.

I found it through the people I connected with the most.


My People

✨ First-time homebuyers
✨ Buyers working within a budget
✨ Sellers who are downsizing
✨ Empty nesters starting a new chapter
✨ Grandparents and great-grandparents simplifying life

These aren’t just transactions.

These are emotional moments.

Buying your first home? That’s HUGE.
Selling the home where you raised your family? That’s DEEP.
Downsizing after decades? That’s PERSONAL.

These are the moments where you don’t just need an agent…

You need someone who understands.


Why This Matters to Me

I’ve realized something about myself:

I’m not just here for the easy deals.

I’m here for the conversations.
The nerves.
The “what ifs.”
The excitement mixed with uncertainty.

I’m here for the people who:

  • Need guidance
  • Have questions
  • Feel overwhelmed
  • Or just need someone to truly listen

I love the situations where I can:
✔ Think outside the box
✔ Get creative
✔ Solve problems
✔ And make the process feel less intimidating

Because real estate isn’t just about property…

It’s about people, emotions, and life transitions.


So… What’s My Niche?

If I had to define it now, I’d say:

I help real people through real life moments—especially when those moments feel big, emotional, or uncertain.

Whether it’s your first home…
Your next chapter…
Or your simpler chapter…

I’m here for it. ❤️


And This Is Just the Beginning

I may not have had the answer when I started…
but now I know this:

I’m building a business rooted in connection, empathy, and trust.

And one day?
Yes—this will be my full-time career.

But for now…
I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.

Helping one person, one family, one home at a time.
